  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.

7. Social Media

We maintain company pages on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and GitHub. This section explains what that does and does not mean for your data.

This website contains no social media tracking. We do not use the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, social login, share buttons that load third-party code, or embedded timelines. The links to our social profiles are ordinary hyperlinks. Visiting rootdigit.com does not transmit any information about you to a social media platform, and you are not tracked across our site by one.

If you choose to visit or interact with one of our pages on those platforms, the platform processes your data under its own privacy policy and as its own data controller. We have no control over that processing and no access to your account. Anything you send us through a platform’s messaging feature is stored by that platform as well as received by us, so please use email for confidential or contractual matters.

For our Facebook Page, Meta provides us with Page Insights — aggregated, anonymised statistics such as the number of people who viewed a post and broad age, gender, and country breakdowns. For this limited data we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited act as joint controllers, and Meta’s Page Insights Controller Addendum governs the arrangement. We cannot identify individual visitors from Insights and we do not attempt to combine it with any other information we hold. Equivalent analytics apply to our X and LinkedIn pages.

Because these platforms operate internationally, using them may involve transferring your data outside your country of residence. To understand or object to that processing, please refer to each platform’s own privacy policy; rights relating to data held by a platform are generally best exercised directly with them.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
