Global framework
Root Digit Engineering contracts under Indian law. Where a client’s own jurisdiction grants mandatory rights, those rights apply in full.

Indian law governs our agreements, with arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 apply to the extent each is in force.

An executed order form or statement of work defines the contracting entity, purchased services, fees, term, deliverables and any negotiated amendments.

The Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and other incorporated documents govern matters not changed in the signed agreement.

Non-waivable consumer, privacy and other statutory rights remain effective. Nothing in our documents excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Entity status
The entity named in an executed order form or statement of work is the contracting entity. A regional reference does not create a local establishment.

Customers in the United States, Europe and every other region are served cross-border from India by Root Digit Engineering. Serving a customer in another country does not create a Root Digit entity, branch or establishment there, and does not remove the mandatory rights that country’s law grants.
Indian law governs unless a signed agreement states otherwise. Disputes are settled by arbitration seated in Guwahati, and awards are enforceable internationally under the New York Convention.
